I am a Senior and in the final year of my IB Diploma from AES, New Delhi.
This is my 3rd year at AES, Delhi, prior to which I studied in the UK for four years at TASIS England in the beautiful countryside of Surrey.
Despite studying in different schools in different countries under different education systems, my affinity and love for STEM subjects have never wavered. I love solving problems as it allows me to view the application of my knowledge in daily life. My interest in Environmental Engineering as a career has motivated me to pursue STEM subjects relating to engineering and ecology.
My subjects
IB HL Maths: Analysis and Approaches
Mathematics has been my favourite subject since childhood. Numbers were a lot of fun as far back as my memory goes!!. Over the years I have also started deeply appreciating the power of mathematics in solving real life problems or theoretical modelling.
HL Physics
As an aspiring engineer, I have naturally gravitated towards Physics to understand the universal forces that govern our lives on and beyond Earth.
HL Chemistry
The science I’ve studied the most number of years since I find it very interesting to understand how matters interact with each other both on a microscopic and macroscopic scale.
SL Environmental Systems and Societies
I love the environment, and I’m human, so I am keen to learn about the relationship between the two. This is the subject where my love for STEM, nature and the desire to solve environmental issues as an environmental engineer comes together.
SL English Language and Literature
I apply principles of literary theory and lenses from various time periods to understand their effects on both classic literary texts and non-literary forms of mass media.
SL Spanish
The global reach of this language along with my love for La Liga and Spanish Cuisine has motivated me to take this course.
