I worked on a project with Reckitt Benckiser (https://www.rb.com/) Research and Development (R&D) team at Gurgaon, India. The R&D team are the brain behind the innovative solutions based on customer insights with an objective to make homes healthier and happier. The R&D centre in Gurgaon is one of the six scientific centres of Reckitt Benckiser worldwide.

The scope of my project and the work I did is an under:

• Created consumer relevant product demos for Vanish, a leading fabric stain remover
• Conducted on-site lab tests to check effectiveness of Vanish vs. key competition products to remove various types of stains (e.g. turmeric, crayon, ballpoint pen)

This project gave me a chance to add to my lab experience in a work environment and it was a great experience to be part of meetings and demos and see how it feels working in an organization. The real-life experiments and comparison with other similar products in the market also gave me insights on sales and marketing aspects and how it impacts an organization’s strategy.
